Training on the EGOTEC CMS

Training for the EGOTEC CMS has been offered regularly since the 2011 summer semester as part of the URZ course programme for editors and administrators of websites in the central CMS. Since 2020, the training has been conducted online via Zoom.

The training is conducted in cooperation with MKM and focuses on two main areas:

• technical training and
• editorial training.

Prerequisite for access to the CMS

Both training areas are mandatory for new editors – editors who are already active can also register for editorial training only for the purpose of further training.

In addition, from April 2024, completion of the training will be a prerequisite for setting up editorial access to the CMS. Those responsible for the websites should take this into account in terms of lead time.

Registration

Registration for the training course takes place via the Moodle e-learning portal.

The access link for the Zoom conferences is also stored there.
